Elevator Regulators
Elevator regulator is a speed sensing device installed in the elevator room, which should be in every elevator and made of quality materials. It has its own pulley, which is moved by a wire rope connected to the elevator car, that is, the adjustment cylinder moves at the same speed as the elevator car, so even if there is a high-speed movement, this value is equalized by the regulator. During this time, the speed regulator continuously controls the speed of the elevator car. In case the elevator car moves too fast, a latch on the regulator activates the elevator speed regulator, braking it and activating the car brake. The fixed adjustment rope activates the safety interlock, which is the emergency brake of the elevator car. The safety latch is attached to the hoistway rail to ensure the elevator stops safely. Regulators in elevator systems are different from other devices. For example, it is used to prevent sudden fluctuations in household appliances and to equalize the current, while it is used to balance the speed in elevator systems.
The way it works is as follows; The upper pulley is next to the elevator motor and has no bearing effect. Main thread break etc. In such cases, the movement of the claw falling into the gap above the hub accelerates and finally the rope stops where the claw cannot come out of the gap due to the increase in the number of revolutions. Handles or wheels with 2mm travel distance are hung on the rails at the bottom or top of the cabinet with the end of the rope. The moving mechanism is tightened by approaching the guide rails on the inclined surface.
