Hydraulic Lift Systems
It is the type of elevator where the drive capability is provided by the hydraulic pump unit. Hydraulic elevators work on the principle that the pistons lift the cabin by pushing the oil from the pump driven by electricity. A hydraulic lift is a system that provides mobility through a hydraulic pump unit. Hydraulic elevator systems lift the car using a hydraulic ram, which is a fluid driven piston mounted in a cylinder. The pump pushes the liquid from the tank into the pipe leading to the cylinder. The downward movement takes place on the elevator’s own weight. Usually the electrical room is located on the first floor. There is a fuel tank (liquid tank) in the engine room, and the hydraulic system, control panel and piping are on the fuel tank. In the elevator pit; cabin, counterweight (if equipped), cylinder-piston system, suspension group and bumper. Hydraulic elevators are suitable for carrying passengers and goods.
Hydraulic Lift Advantages
- Hydraulic elevator installation is more economical for other elevator types.
- They take up very little space in buildings and require almost 10% less well space.
- They are very effective under heavy loads as hydraulic power provides more lift.
- No overhead cabin requirement. The load of the elevator is spread on the load-bearing wall.
Hydraulic elevators are designed and produced with a focus on design and elegance. This innovative product saves energy and reduces environmental impact. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor installations even in small residences.
