Machine Room Elevator
It is the type of elevator in which the elevator drive machine is located in a room formed above the elevator shaft. It works by taking action by the command of the drive motor in the engine room from the control panel and moving the cabin in the desired direction. The room where the elevator management and controller is located is called a machine room elevator. The entrance to the elevator machine room is usually located in the attic of the building or outside the general corridor that runs through the mechanical equipment room. The engine room is the area reserved for elevator equipment and consists of a controller, 2 electrical connections and a pump set. The controller is a set of relays that help the elevator work, when we think of it as a brain we understand that it has an important function. The power outage is to power the unit and the other is to power the elevator lights. The pump unit is where the oil is stored, and the engine of the elevator is at the top. The cabinet houses equipment critical to the functionality of your unit.
Home elevators do not require separate rooms while they differ in situations such as workplaces and shopping malls. The device is designed to be placed in a room with other household services. Most of our customers place their products in the mechanical room where the oven and hot water tank are located. The key is to make sure there is enough space for technicians to safely service the elevator. When planning your business elevator, not just home elevators, knowing the best location for the engine room will help your elevator run more efficiently. Placing your cabin on the lowest floor close to the equipment will help your elevator work more efficiently and will have a secure storage space as it is not in a visible section.
